Carbon fibre dash being made. Intake tube being fabricated.

1. Tried on the front wings and headlights just to see what it looks like, now that nosecone and hood is aligned.
2. Headlights and nose cone alignment looks good.
3. Headlights sit very "low down". Am thinking of raising them up a bit...we'll see what I do.
4. There's quite a big gap at the rear of the bonnet, but it cannot be adjusted out because the scuttle cannot move forwards anymore because the middle of the bonnet is already at it's maximum forwards. The gap looks bigger than it is.

5. Carbon fibre dash in production. It's all hand-laid, whichmeans there are some defects in the structure, but that's the way it goes when amateurs do things...It was a real PITA to get to this stage because obviously I didn't wax it properly so everything I had used filler on the mould obviously stuck to it, needing it to be sanded away. Oh well, you live and learn yet again...

6. Close up of some of the "defects". Gives some character at least.
7. Made an intake tube. Took somewhere between 6-8 hours to get to this stage as this is the second one I made, the first didn't fit too well...
8. A wider angled shot. Everything looks so dirty, but that's because I haven't cleaned the engine. Wanted to know if it works alright first. Shine comes later on.
