Mounted clutch master cylinder and adapted the clutch pedal to work with it. Also took out the engine of the chassis and the transmission to measure the size of an adapter that will go between the clutch slave cylinder and the transmission housing.

1. Clutch slave and master cylinder have arrived!

2. It's supposed to go there, just to the side of the two brake cylinders.

3. Have to make a mounting flange and make holes.

4. There we go. Easy peasy when you're looking at it like this. Only 3 hours later though...The camera really picks out every speck of dirt there is. In reality it looks much cleaner, but I will have a go at cleaning up here once I feel "finished" with what has to go here.

5. Mounted and done. Looks nice from the front. Almost like it was made by the factory (I wish).

6. The pedal pivot is now at the bottom, instead of a bit up as when using a wire, whichmeans I have to lengthen the pedal and put the pivot at the end.

7. See how short it is?

8. When done, it will be something like this, except the pedal a bit longer.

9. Cut the pedal end just above the pivot and welded it to this long bar.

10. Cut the bar at the right height and welded on the pivot. It's a little too long, so I'll have to adjust that some day, but this is a good idea of how it will be when finished.

11. Another angle.

12. I have to measure the distance left after having mounted the pressure plate and the clutch slave cylinder in order to get the right height of an adapter which can look like this. Only way is to take everything out and in pieces measure and calculate. A lot of fun!

13. Started looking at the pressure plate. Have to measure to make an adapter to mount the clutch slave cylinder on, so I need the width of this. For future reference, it is 45 mm mounting flange to tip of "feathers".

14. The pressure plate mounts to the flywheel. Distance from motor to flywheel mount surface is 22mm.

15. The total depth of the bellhousing is 153.5mm and the slave cylinder and throwout bearing is 53mm in total.

16. The adapter goes on to this surface and builds "outwards" to the left along the shaft. Putting all this together, the adapter should be between 30 and 33mm.
