Docked engine to transmission and made first attempts at fitting engine into engine bay - and it fits with the stock intake manifold (Woohaaa!)

1. Moving the chassis around in the garage to make more space for engine at the front.

2. Docked transmission to bellhousing.

3. Docked bellhousing to engine, now have the transmission mounted to the engine (no clutch though as that will come later).

4. Engine almost in the chassis.

5. The intake side engine mount has been placed in its Westfield pre-drilled hole. Seem to have about another inch of movement back before bellhousing hits the "firewall".

6. Yep, another inch here wouldn't hurt exactly...

7. Exhaust side engine mount doesn't fit into any pre-drilled hole. Doesn't matter though as we will be drilling new holes further back.

8. Another angle.

9. Will also need to space out the whole engine mount about 20mm as the nut on the rubber donut would otherwise hit the chassis rail (i.e. no way of tightening it).

10. Lots of clearance for intake manifold against chassis rails. This space will increase as the other side engine mount goes into its hole. All sceptics who said it wouldn't fit - here you go, it DOES fit.

11. Here's the back of the intake - lots of extra room here to. I ahve also measured the height, seems to work ok beneath the bonnet also. Another mark on the board of Mike vs. The Sceptics ;)
