Clearcoating some parts, getting the body pannelling started and starting
on the brake lines.
| Preparing aluminium parts for clearcoating so they will look this good after at leats a few seasons of use.
| Close-up of beautiful aluminium front hubs.
| Fitting alu panels, drilling and tapping - lots of them.
| Here's one of the pieces.
| Clamped in place, ready for drilling holes in the chassis.
| Fitted the two frontmost body panels so that I could do the brake lines properly.
| Here's another view. Didn't use the Westfield supplied brake pipes in steel for several reasons: 1) Steel means you cannot re-bend it when forming it 2) it rust from both inside and out should a small stone chip the paint and 3) it is much harder to form and I would have had to make changes anyway since I'm using two mastercylinders instead of the "standard" one master cylinder.
| Did the first brake pipe, pic shows the front part of it.
| The pedals. Next up is fitting the rest of the brake lines.
